This morning, Amazon Web Services (AWS) confirmed a major outage affecting thousands of websites and apps around the world. Rather than running their own servers, millions of companies worldwide rely on AWS to handle their cloud infrastructure.
Unfortunately, Ellii was affected by this outage. Ellii is back up and running again after experiencing delays and slow response times earlier today. We’ve identified the issue to be our cloud infrastructure provider, and the issue was, unfortunately, out of our control.
We have been monitoring the issue closely and working to restore Ellii’s servers to their regular state as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, the company we use for answering support emails also relies on Amazon servers (AWS), and their site has been struggling too. This means that we have not been able to access some email support tickets.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disruption of your classes, and will continue to monitor the situation.
